Catherine House is a five bed residential care home on Hamilton Road in Taunton, registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Catherine House was rated Good at its last full inspection.
In June 2024, the provider registration moved from sole trader to limited company. Forward Support Care Ltd is now the registered provider. The team, the home and the approach are the same. Our first inspection under the new registration is pending.

We specialise in long term residential care for adults with learning disabilities. We are not a large chain. We do not run multiple homes. Catherine House is what we do.
The home is led by Laura Luxon, our Registered Manager. Laura is on the ground every day. She knows every person who lives here, every family who visits, and every member of staff by name.
That matters. In an industry that can feel process driven and distant, Catherine House is run the other way round. The people who live here come first. Everything else follows.
